The face of homelessness has changed
Housing affordability and domestic and family violence are forcing single mothers and their children into homelessness.
How we're taking action
We establish a 'solid ground' from which single mothers experiencing homelessness can build their independence and confidence again.
Our aim is to provide extended transitional housing (for up to 5 years) in micro communities of 6 to 10 small homes for single mothers and their dependent children, along with a range of structured supports to enable them to build their future financial independence and stability. These structured supports will be individualised and could include mental health support, financial and career coaching, employment and education pathways, parenting education and personal empowerment.
